China Payments Service 

 

The China Payment Service (CPS) enables a seller approved by Paymate to accept payment via Alipay, the leading payment service in the People's Republic of China with over 150 million registered clients.  Alipay can be used by consumers in China to make payments from their bank accounts, as well as credit cards.  At this time, only sellers in Australia can be approved to accept payments via Alipay.  Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The buyer in China simply clicks on the Paymate Express logoappearing on the approved seller's website and is then is linked to the Alipay website to authorise a payment to Paymate.  Paymate collects the funds and credits the seller’s bank account in Australia in Australian Dollars, without any currency conversion risk for the seller. The Chinese buyer can use their bank account or domestic credit card account to pay in RMB directly via Alipay.
