Welcome to buyers in the People's Republic of China wishing to purchase products from Australian merchants. You can make purchases from any website that displays the Paymate logo and is also authorised to accept Alipay payments.

Will there be any fees or charges?

Paymate will not charge buyers any fees for the payment service.

How will the payment service work on a website?

You must be a registered Alipay user to make a payment from China. You do NOT need to register with Paymate to use our Express Payment Service.
You can visit any website that accepts Paymate to make purchases from approved Australian merchants.
When you make purchases you can select products into the website shopping cart and then click the Checkout button.
Please fill in your personal details in English and payment amount in Australian Dollars and click the Submit button to authorise the order via Paymate.
Paymate will provide a receipt and Paymate Transaction ID to you for reference and display a link to Alipay.
You can then go to the Alipay site and log in. Alipay will display the equivalent of the AUD payment in RMB so you can authorise this payment.
Paymate will receive the funds from Alipay and deposit the payment in Australian Dollars into the seller's bank account in Australia.

We will then send emails to you and your seller to say a payment has been made to them. The seller will then ship goods to the address you provide.

We recommend you make an Alipay payment promptly since the seller with not ship any items until payment has been received.

What is Haiwaibao?

Haiwaibao ("Foreign Treasure") is an online shopping mall that Australian merchants can use to list products with high quality images and English-language descriptions. Buyers in the People's Republic of China will be able to view products with descriptions translated into simplified Mandarin. Buyers can pay from their Chinese bank accounts or credit cards at no charge via a trusted Chinese service, Alipay. Paymate will credit Australian dollars into sellers' local bank accounts in Australia once the payment has been authorised and paid.
