Paymate to Launch US Payments Service on eBay

Paymate, an innovative Australian provider of Internet payment services, today announced the launch of a new online payment service for US-domiciled sellers, to go live in February, 2009.  At the same time, Paymate announced its integration into the world’s largest online marketplace, www.ebay.com, as an approved payment provider invited by eBay.

Paymate will initially offer a credit card payment service that US sellers can use to accept US dollar payments via Visa and MasterCard on eBay Checkout as well as websites.  Australian sellers can also offer Paymate as a payment option integrated into eBay Checkout.  Paymate’s risk assessment systems will help sellers avoid fraud while buyers will be fully protected against unauthorised payments and non-delivery of goods.
