How Buyers Can Reduce Risks
Paymate utilises state of the art technology and systems to detect and avoid fraud for both buyers and sellers using our services.
Buyers should consider the following tips when making online payments.
- Use a secure browser for online payments and check that the site is secure. When you make a payment via Paymate you will see our page address has an “s” after the “http” as well as a ‘padlock’ icon at the bottom of the page.
- Check you are at a genuine Paymate page by clicking on the Verisign logo on our home page or Paymate Express. This confirms the Paymate name and certificate, which looks like this.
